We have kicked off 2022 with some new features!
At Orchidea, we think it is important to keep you posted on our latest features and updates, so you can get the most out of using Orchidea 7.
That being said, our goal in 2022 is to keep you on track with our development with frequent update emails such as this one.
Now welcoming the Challenge feature
A compelling way to generate ideas
Innovation challenge is a phase-by-phase process to help you find innovative solutions to a chosen topic
- We have included tips and guides to each phase to keep the process smooth and easy
- It is easy to invite your team, clients, and partners to participate
- Choose experts from your team to evaluate the proposals
Explore Orchidea's challenge feature here!
Easy to start
Creating a challenge is a simple two step process, so getting started is simple as can be. Submitting and reviewing proposals is equally easy, to encourage ideation.
Clear scheduling and more
Calendar shows how much time has been set for the challenge phase.
- Everyone participates online at their own pace
- Active phase is clearly marked
Automatic proposal assignment now available
You can now assign proposal management responsibility manually or automatically for the channel managers.
(This is the same as Handler/käsittelijä (fi) in Orchidea 5)
We have the following two logics for automatic assignment.
Round robin logic
In channels, round-robin means that the responsibility to manage ideas is automatically assigned to channels managers in sequence so that each manager receives their fair share of proposals to manage.
Classification tree
If a channel uses a classification tree,
Orchidea can automatically assign channel managers to proposals based on chosen classification tree.
You can easily define the channel managers in charge of the classifications in the channel settings.
Minor updates:
- Language in the Finnish content has been improved
- Mentioning users with @-feature has been improved
Best regards,
