Hashtag helps you group similar proposals
You can now add hashtags to your proposals to sort them out and find matching proposals easily!
Adding hashtags is easy, just add # in front of a word you want to turn into a hashtag in any text field!
You can view and filter all the proposals that include the same hashtag by clicking the hashtag. This will make browsing similar or related proposals easier.
Context help to assist you in using Orchidea
Context help makes using Orchidea 7 smoother!
- We have added help texts that appear when you hover an ?-icon
- Admins can also add context help for classifications in the admin settings
Add missing fields when moving proposals between channels
Sometimes channels have different proposal creations forms and proposals miss fields when proposals are moved between channels. You can now easily add the missing fields. You can also remove unused fields from your proposals.
You can edit proposal fields for any proposal. The edit option is located under the three dots menu.
Chatbot support experiment
We are trying out a chatbot that supports users with their questions.You can find the chatbot in the bottom right corner of Orchidea. Chatbot lets you easily search for answers in the knowledge base articles. And at times there are also members of the Orchidea team helping with the questions.
We want to try out new ways of supporting our users and chatbot support is an experiment in this field. Due to the nature of an experiment, the availability and response of the chatbot might vary from time to time.
Minor updates:
- If a form has mandatory fields, the form starts with the text "Input fields end with * are mandatory"
- Several small improvements to Challenges: proposals tab includes number of proposals, new "Give reactions" button, filtering of proposals
- The sizing bug of wide picture attachments is fixed
- Proposals sorting added to the channel feed
- There is a filter in the channel feed and the default filtering of the channel feed is now active proposals
- Clicking a proposal in the bubble chart of a challenge opens the proposal details
- Maximum character count added to clarify challenge description
